Saturday and it is declared FUN TIMES DAY

Nothing going on around here as there is still 9 inches of snow on the ground.  The temps are suppose to be in the 40s but it will take a lot more than that to melt all this snow.
So, Dear LYK Bloggers, I am in my scraproom snuggled up with my supplies and getting ready to play.
I hope that everyone has a fun day and come on over to scrap if you want to.  The wine is chilled, the Dr Pepper is cooled, and the room is warm.

Hope to see you all soon..................

Sorry bloggers

I am having so many problems with this blog.  It couldnt be user error, of course.
I will try to write something every day if possible but I am not able to update my books and am having trouble adding free books.

One thing I will let you know is that I am still here and still reading.  I feel like I have to get a lot of reading done now before it gets warm because I will be outside working.  I have tried to think of someway of hanging the Kindle in a bag around my neck so I can listen to the books while I work.

Have a good - warm day.

No update for K2 but update for K3

Amazon is excited to tell you about some new features coming to the latest generation Kindle and Kindle 3G:

-- Public Notes - This feature lets Kindle users choose to make their book notes and highlights available for others to see. Any Kindle user - including authors, their fans, book reviewers, professors and passionate readers everywhere - can opt-in to share their thoughts on book passages and ideas with friends, family members, colleagues, and the greater Kindle community of people who love to read. This is a new way for readers to share their excitement and knowledge about books and get more from the books they read. To review and turn on Public Notes in your own books, view the Public Notes of people you follow, track your reading activities, see Popular Highlights and your annotations, and view your full library of books, go to http://kindle.amazon.com.

-- Real Page Numbers - Our customers have told us they want real page numbers that match the page numbers in print books so they can easily reference and cite passages, and read alongside others in a book club or class. Rather than add page numbers that don't correspond to print books, which is how page numbers have been added to e-books in the past, we're adding real page numbers that correspond directly to a book's print edition. We've already added real page numbers to tens of thousands of Kindle books, including the top 100 bestselling books in the Kindle Store that have matching print editions and thousands more of the most popular books. Page numbers will also be available on our free "Buy Once, Read Everywhere" Kindle apps in the coming months.

-- Before You Go... - When you reach the end of the book, we will now offer a seamless experience that lets you immediately rate the book, share a message about the book with your social network, get personalized recommendations for what to read next, and see more books by the same author.

Happy Birthday, Erin !!!!

Yes, it is my baby's birthday.  I was 12 years old when I adopted her... lol

I want to apologize to my followers.  I have not been able to make changes on my blog for the last couple of days and not even today it wont let me make changes.
I also want to apologize to my daughter and sil that I just cant get into 'Dragon Tattoo' book.  I even found a site that gave me a chapter review and I couldnt get into it.  Just too many people and too many side stories.  Maybe someday I will be able to concentrate enough to read it.
So my new reads are:  'Bloody Bones' by Laurell K Hamilton.  It is the 5th book in Anita Blake series.
'The Queen of Palmyra' by Minrose Gwin.  I havent started this book yet but hope to start it today.  It was recommended by one of my friends and followers, Kathy Manns.  She said that it is similar to 'The Help' by Kathryn Stockett but she likes Palmyra better.

I hope to be get to update the blog.  I have not found any free books today, but will look for other books that you might enjoy.

Enjoy the cold as it will be hot some day and we will get to complain about it too.
